FAQ & troubleshooting
How do I contact Wingman support?
Email support@wingmanrizz.com. You can also post questions, bug reports and feature requests on the Wingman support portal at https://wingmanai.featurebase.app. Include your iPhone model, iOS version and Wingman version (iPhone Settings > General > About, and the App Store page) so we can help faster.
How do I turn on the Wingman keyboard?
Open the iPhone Settings app, go to General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard..., and choose Wingman under Third-Party Keyboards. Then open any chat, tap and hold the globe (or emoji) key, and pick Wingman.
What does Allow Full Access do and do I need it?
iOS requires Full Access for any keyboard that connects to the internet. Wingman needs it to fetch AI replies. Turn it on in Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Wingman > Allow Full Access. According to Wingman's privacy policy, the keyboard does not log your keystrokes; text is sent to the AI provider only when you tap for a reply.
The Wingman keyboard doesn't appear. What should I check?
Make sure Wingman is added under Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards, then use the globe key to switch to it. iOS always swaps in the system keyboard for password and other secure fields, and some apps block third-party keyboards, so Wingman won't show there. If it still doesn't appear, restart your iPhone and update Wingman from the App Store.
AI replies aren't loading. How do I fix it?
Check that Allow Full Access is turned on for Wingman and that you have an internet connection. AI replies are part of Wingman Pro, so make sure your subscription or free trial is active. If replies still fail, force-close and reopen the app you're typing in, then try again.
How do I cancel or manage my Wingman Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select Wingman and choose Cancel Subscription or change your plan. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe, open Wingman, and use the Restore Purchases option in the app (on the Wingman Pro screen). You can confirm your subscription is active under Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by Wingman. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How much does Wingman cost?
Wingman is free to download and the keyboard itself is free in every app. AI replies are part of Wingman Pro: $6.99/week or $39.99/year in the US, with a 3-day free trial on the yearly plan. Prices are shown in your local currency in the app before you buy.
Where is the privacy policy?
Read Wingman's privacy policy at wingmanrizz.com/privacy. It explains what text and images are sent to AI providers when you request a reply and what is never collected.
